The Full Story
I started my business during the covid-19 stay home order. Understanding the need for minority doctors and seeing the number of minorities affected by covid-19 inspired me to see how I might make an impact in minority communities. I have always been passionate about working with youth and young adults moving them forward in their educational and career journeys and my 20 plus years of professional experience gave me the confidence I needed to move forward.

JQuinn GIMS Essentials Group was birth in the spring of 2020 and officially opened its virtual doors in the summer of 2020. I have worked with countless students who are interested in pursuing medicine as a career path!
Throughout my professional career, I have worked with and coached hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds. I decided to pursue my certification as a Master Life Coach in 2020 and completed my certification process in 2021. As a Master Life Coach, I specialize in 5 different niches to include Goal Success, Life Purpose, Confidence and Growth Mindset, Happiness, and Professional.
Meet The Manager
Javonda Quinn has always been driven to help youth and young adults achieve success in education. This has been her passion for over 20 years. She started her professional career out working to help young adults develop job readiness skills to prepare for the world of work. She also volunteered her time tutoring youth and adults in an adult learning center helping students prepare for their GED (general educational diploma). Her passion and continued pursuit to help youth and adults achieve their educational goals moved her forward in her career development.

After years of helping students prepare and achieve their GED, she moved on to become the director of an adult education learning center serving students and adults across a diverse spectrum. Her career journey would lead her to work with youth who were interested in pursuing higher education in TRIO Upward Bound programs and it was here she learned of a higher calling on her life that would ultimately change the trajectory of her path. Her experience includes working for a school of medicine in a university where she would have a primary role of developing programs to include pipeline programs for local middle and high schools.
